Representing Lubbock, Midland/Odessa, San Angelo, and surrounding counties in Texas, Bonwicke is a chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism or SCA. The SCA is a worldwide, non-profit organization dedicated to recreating the Middle Ages in a family friendly environment here in the modern day.

Populace Notes August 2015

Regional Fighter Practice this Saturday August 8, starting at 10 am in Big Spring at Comanche Trail Park. Chivalric and rapier fighting.

Applications for treasure is open to the populace PLEASE apply as soon as possible. We have money. The barony is in need of a larger pavilion because ours in damaged and needs to be replaced. We are looking to purchase one. The financial committee is for this. Business Cards are in the works designs and such are being worked out.

Application for A&S minister is open to the populace. Regional A&S classes October 3rd in Goldsmith. Classes and schedule will be posted in the future. If you have classes that you want to learn please let me know we can look into it. Think about what you want to learn or what you want to teach!

We are having practice in Midland and Lubbock regularly. If you would like to help by being a marshal please let Gabriel know.

Bonwicke's Champion September 4-6 Labor Day weekend

Feast is going to be yummy make your reservations with Michael Hyndman. Also contact him for reservation for cabins. Camping is also available. Site tokens are coming down the pipe line. Prizes are needed to fill our baskets if you have anything you would like to donate please just let us know. We have some marshals for chivalric, rapier fighting, throwing weapons, and archery. This is looking to be an awesome event!
